Machismo, Hachas Vieja, and female gang members

All I know is, we're not talking about the saloon women. The ones that
hang around in the
saloon. I don't know those. But I'm talking about the women that lived
in the, so we're not
talking about the mistresses. We're talking about the wives and the women
that were there
were not at all in the gang. They were separate from the whole thing.
But I'm sure just
from my background, my understanding, I'm sure that at the saloon they
had women that
were probably Hacha Viejaettes or something like that. You know? They
probably call 'em
different. I mean they you know they hung around with the and they some
of them were
probably American women or different you know not neccesarily all Spanish
either..

Vieja, and my friend, who is the owner of the building and
was a member of another gang called Lincoln Park...but this was in West
Town but he
grew up in Lincoln Park... For some reason he, they looked at each other

something but all of the sudden this guy takes out a gun, an automatic

there's no room to go over here. This guy's got a gun pointed at Hacha
Vieja. I know bot
sides, I'm with my uncle and Hacha Vieja but I know the other guy. I'm

my uncle. We can't move,
we're in there. And this guy's got a gun well Hacha Vieja comes out. He's
got a revolver,
it's like a .22 and he starts loading his revolver why this guy's got
the gun under trying to
scare him. Well Hacha Vieja not gonna get scared. He's loading his revolver
and he finally
packs it in and starts pointing it right back at the guy and the guy ran.
And they were
shooting at each other in the street and finally the police came and Hacha
Vieja chase
this guy all over the place.
